Research Interests

 

  1. Synthesis of Pt(II) and Pd(II) complexes, analogous to platinum based anticancer drugs; DNA/Protein binding studies; Investigation of In vitro anticancer property on different cancer cell lines as well as normal cells.
  2. Special emphasis on kinetics and mechanism of biologically important Inorganic reactions.
  3. Theoretical investigations (DFT) such as geometry optimisation, TD-DFT, reactivity parameters, IRC, NBO etc.
